Eighmee and I had a great Thanksgiving up at Lake Amanor near Chester, Ca. with her parents and David and Nancy. It was a long (about 3.5 hours) but beautiful drive in each direction. We stayed Thursday night and drove home today.

Tomorrow is the last day of work this week. We get Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving holiday. Work is almost completely empty right now. It 10 minutes I leave to pick up Eighmee from work and we're heading to Delta College for the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Someone had sponsored for Susie's name to be on one of the lights of the tree, so most of Eighmee's family will probably be there tonight. If I'm not mistaken the same was done when my dad passed away. Man it's been a boring as hell day. :o/
Afterwards we've just been hangin out at home. I played a bit of Halo 2, then Kitt came over at we grabbed some Carls Jr. for dinner while watching Court TV.

Wuddup, it's Sunday. Ryan and I beat Halo 2 yesterday: great game, but the ending sucked hard. You deactivate the second Halo just in time to find out all the other ringworlds have gone to stand-by, and the 'on switch' is on Earth. All the Halo 2 trailers showed the 'showdown' going down on city streets on Earth, and that level wasn't even in the game. WTF?! Ryan read that it was suggested to Bungie to leave out the showdown as a guaranteed segue to Halo 3. Gay.

This past weekend we met in Bodega Bay for the Scattering of Ashes on Dillon beach. We stayed at The Inn at the Tides -- a beautiful beachside hotel. We ate at The Tides restaraunt a number of times while we were there which sat on the bay. I drove Eighmee, Ryan, Harvey and Paula, and we met Eric's family there who were driven by David and Nancy. Father Rick arrived later with Sharron and Al for the 'service', which was beautiful and sureal on the beach. The whole weekend was a great gathering Susie would have loved.
Eighmee and I had dinner at UJ's with her parents when we got back to Stockton.
Last night, Monday night, Halo 2 was released for the XBox. We had Zack stay the night, and we waited outside the Weberstown Mall for the 12:01 release from GameStop. Ryan, Andrew and Zack stayed up quite late playing, but Eighmee and I had to go to bed for work this morning.
