It's the evening before HealthTrio go-live here at work and it's helluva hectic. Last night was pretty rough too. Eighmee caught a couple of hoodlums trying to steal a car from beneith our appartment window. They saw her and threw a Mag flashlight at the window, then ran off. She called the police and her, Andrew and I went down to check out the car. The owner was home but wouldn't answer his door. (it was about 2am) The police showed up and questioned Eighmee, took the Mag flashlight and was off rather quickly. Later when Andrew left, he called us and said he saw a cop on his way home who'd stopped a car with kids matching her description. It's unknown yet if they were the same guys. She was a bit paranoid of retribution, and wanted to sleep on the couch to be able to look outside easier. I obliged. :o)

Saturday started off sucky. Eighmee and Ryan took off for Valley Springs. I was going to follow them up shortly thereafter. When I went out to the car the battery was dead. I'd left the dome light on overnight and it was completely hosed. So I had to call Eighmee, and then my mom to have her bring a battery charger. 20 minutes later mom stopped by and we got it started fine. We had a pretty fun time up in Vally Springs house sitting for her parents who were at a wedding in Monterey.

The next day we came back to Stockton. It was nice to be back home. Eighmee wasn't feeling to good, so I headed over to my grandparents for Fathers Day alone. I had a great time. In attendance were Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Eddie, Justin, Grandma Jean, Marsha, Mike, Jennifer, Alex, Jennifers Mom (her name escapes me), and the new Isabella. I got a nice card from Mike asking that I be Bella's Godfather. I played in the pool for a good while and got a pretty bad sun burn on my front side. Grandma Jean had Angelina's catered for the day. We had Raviollis, Salad, Tri-tip, and bread. For desert was cake, and grandpa's homemade icecream. yum. We opened presents soonafter, while many watched gold on TV. The party broke up around 5 or so and I headed home with a plate of good grub made up for Eighmee.

It's been a long week at work, working on getting HealthTrio up and running for our hopeful 7/1 go live date and it'll only get worse over the next couple weeks. This is worsened by the fact that Tim, a good friend and helluva c# developer announced his resignation Friday. He found another good gig elsewhere, but offered to help us afterhours.

Today is Fathers Day. My first without. I'm heading over to my grandparents in a few minutes for the usual party thing over there. In the mean time Eighmee and Ryan are heading up to her parents house since we're house-sitting while her parents are at a wedding in Monterey. I'll be heading up there to join in after the party.

6/22 Edit : I'm retarded. This wasn't my first "Fathers Day without". We lost dad 4/15 (i think) last year. duh.. :o)

We had a great time at the birthday party / fathers day party yesterday at Susies. We had some great tri-tip and salmon, and played much Halo with Zach. Here's a pic of Nancy, Lauren, Eighmee, and Paula.

After the party we headed to the Walmart in Lodi (since we were already there) for household supplies then headed home.

Friday I got home from work and slept for several hours. Kitt and Sean came over and chatted and played FarCry some.

Since then, we've had a busy weekend. Yesterday, Saturday, we followed Ryan to Subaru or Turlock where he got some bad service yet again. I think he's done with that place. Afterwards we had lunch at IHOP in Modesto, then we came back to Stockton and did a lot of shopping for birthdays and fathers day. Best Buy, Gotshalks, and Eighmee did some shopping at Lane Bryant during which my mom called me on my cell and we chatted for a good long while. After shopping we headed to Shi Ra Soni for dinner. Great grub as always! We came home and Eighmee started cooking for the party today and I played a bit more FarCry on computer. Eighmee and Ryan then watched Jeepers Creepers 2 while I continued FarCry. (Eighmee and I had already seen it this past week.) Today, Sunday, we slept in a bit and we're just now starting to head over to her sisters in Lodi.

Yesterday was an easy day at work. I picked up Tim and brought him to work around 10am, as he was unable to drive from his sprained ankle & crutches. Then, around one, we had a retirement party for the CEO, a western themed thing with a BBQ and all the fixin's, and we sang Happy Trails after all the fairwell statements from the staff. Afterwards Tim and I headed to Starbucks for some post-lunch gormet coffee. I gave him a ride home after work, then headed home myself. Eighmee decided we'd BBQ for dinner, so I headed out to Smartfoods for groceries. When I got home I called mom, who I haven't talked to in almost two weeks. We BSed for about an hour, afterwhich Eighmee had most of the fixin's cooking, so I headed out to BBQ detail. We made a bit of tri-tip, some hotdogs, and Eighmee make au gratin potatos, artichokes, zuchini and garlic bread. Afterward we watched the movie Underworld, then I did a few dishes, and played a few minutes of Ultima Online before hitting the sack.

It's been a very quite, but busy week. Alejandro is on his second week of vacation; he brought his parents in to work last week who are visiting from Nicaragua. That was a fun experience as Alex had to translate (in both directions) as we chatted with his parents. Bossman Jerry just started his vacation, taking the family to Washington D.C., where they'll be for the next two weeks. Monday was Memorial Day, but it's been Tim, Shelli, Norman and I since then. Last night Tim called me saying that he'd tripped over some brickwork in front of his house and seriously sprained his ankle. Aparently he's on Crutches now, and said he wouldn't be coming in to work today. So it seems the crew is dwindling as the week goes on. :o)

I started playing Tron 2.0 this past weekend, and the past couple nights I've been playing with a vengence to beat the game with I finally did last night. Pretty fun game; Kitt and Ryan simply refer to it as "Crack" due to it's addictiveness. Last night (before Tron hehe) we went to Target to pick up a birthday gift for Haley (Eighmee's Neice), then we headed to Best Buy where Eighmee picked up Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on DVD. Ryan searched for Babylon 5 - Season 4 Box Set on DVD to no avail, though a clerk had said the computer indicated there was one in stock. Last night Andrew came over and they watched some movie called Monster (while I was beating Tron :o)

Okay back to work...
