Friday Eighmee, after phoning in for a week, had to go to the courthouse for jury duty. We got up early and I got her down ther by 7:45 or so. She phoned me at work that they'd been given a 2.5 hour lunch, so around 11 I picked her up and we went to the California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. Her task was over by 4pm without having to actually sitin on a case. w00t! This weekend has been pretty quiet. Ryan, Kitt, Sean and Alan were over last night and watched Desperado. Today I'll probably go grocery shopping and call mom to see how she's been doing. I'm also almost done reading 2001 A Space Odyssey (Clarke), but other than that I imagine it'll be a quiet day too.

I had yesterday off as it was President's Day. Last night Kitt, Sean, Eighmee, Ryan, Andrew and I had a birthday dinner for Kitt at Red Lobster. Prior to dinner Eighmee, Ryan and I ran around to several different stores and got Kitt a gang load of beer and mugs for his birthday present. We went to WinCo, Smartfoods and Cost Plus. The dinner was fantastic!
This morning Alex called me on the way to work to let me know that the web servers were down and Adi was waiting for my help to get them going again. Here's a classic Monday... err, Tuesday, for ya. :o)

Happy St. Valentines Day! Mom got her Tulips delivered today, and called early to say thanks and chat. Eighmee got her roses just a short while ago and loved them. Ryan came over and Eighmee made Valentines breakfast for both of us (heart shaped eggs, heart shaped bacon (w00t!), hash browns, etc. Leaving in a bit to babysit Haley this evening at Dave & Nancy's. Peace out.

Worked today. Jerry (da boss) worked from home today to work on hedis reports. Alex was out today too. Umm... Tim, Norman and I had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen (though none of us ate pizza lol). Eighmee and I watched Signs last night and just before the end of it Eighmee noticed that our new Uniden 2.4g cordless phones were phucked. Well all the handsets were fine, but the base unit was just black. (no lights) So after work today Eighmee and I went to Costco and exchanged the phones for a new one. Eighmee also exchanged a bad copy of Rainman on DVD she'd bought there, but it appears even the exchanged copy is also bad (we haven't tested it yet though). Ryan just came over after he worked at Software Etc. and Sean might be stopping by. Eighmee's making vegetable lasagne (sp), baked potatos and bread for dinner. yum. ok peace out fuckers.

I've maxxed our my vaction time at work, and have been taking some time off. Friday of last week, and Tuesday and Thursday (today) of this week. I haven't done a whole lot. I finished reading Moby Dick about two weeks ago, and since then I've read Franz Kafka's The Metamorphisis. Both very cool stories. Last night I started reading 2001 A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke. I really enjoyed the movie, and so far through the first couple chapters, the book has been quite better. Today after getting up late, I went and washed the car and got gas, then went to Dillards to spend a couple gift certificates I had totaling over $90 bucks. After about 2 hours looking all I could find was one long-sleeve button-down silk Perry Ellis shirt for about $40. I browsed through their shoe department as my existing Sketchers are getting quite thrashed, but the sales guy was kind of a dick so I left into the Webberstown mall. After shopping around a bit I came to realize that half the mall was closed down. The left half actually as bisected down the center from the main entrance. I figured it had something to do with the fact today was Lincolns birthday, but it still seemed odd. After looking though some of the mall I found some signs that indicated that there had been a fire which caused a power failure. Either way, I came home and Ryan came over shortly thereafter. We popped in the movie Red Planet which the three of us watched for about three hours. I crashed on the couch after that, and Ryan's been playing Deus Ex 2 again. Eighmee's been writing in her journal which prompted me to throw down a blog. :o) I think Sean and Kitt will be stopping by later to watch E.R. Peace out...
