I got paid today, and I'm just about broke again.
I got the windshield fixed on the Pilot today. It was $45.
I paid Eighmee to pay her friend Alex for the LCD projector we decided to buy off him for $400.
Along with this being rent time ($775) == suXXors.
Ah well, life is good: At least I can buy $400 projectors and complain about it... :o)
Thought:
What is it about life that makes us start to not-give-a-damn as we get older?
This one needs some thought.
Last night we watched a movie. I'm not sure of the exact title, and I don't feel like looking it up on imdb.com. It was something like "The life of David Gale", where David Gale was a dude on death row for murder for which he was innocent. He said something interesting to the gest of: We spend millions on technology trying to outrun death. But as we age, we start to lose interest, and imagination, and creativity. We have no idea what happens when we die. Perhaps death is a gift to allow us to escape this loss if immagination. *shrugs*
