Monday June 30 - Aight time for a blog- Work's been busy. HealthTrio's been in town for the past week and a half. Reviews were scheduled for Friday but they've been pushed back twice now. I can't wait to find out how much extra dough I'll be making. :o) Saturday was the Hunt picnic at Mickey's Grove park here in Stockton. It was hot as hell. Eighmee had to work that day, but Mike, Jen, Justin, his girl Kelly, etc were all there. It was one of the quickest picnic's we'd had there in a long time. The heat was a bit uncomfortable. Before we left, Marsha, Mom, Justin, Kelly and I all went to the zoo there. That's always fun. After the picnic, Justin, Kelly and I headed over to Mike and Jennifers for a swim and a couple beers. Good times. Yesterday, Sunday, was pretty quiet. Eighmee had the day off, and I spent the morning with Mom helping her with cleaning the drain gutters, fixing sprinklers, et al. Aight back to work.

It's Friday June 20, 2003. I'm at work. Tim, Alex and Jerry are all working from home *ahem*vacation*ahem* Shelli and I went to Starbucks and Gordito Burrito next door for breakfast this morning. It's only the second time we'd been there. Their bacon breakfast burritos were awesome!

Eighmee's got the day off and will probably be sleeping and playing Animal Crossing all morning. As I described before, we've got Andrews BBQ to go to tonight, and I need to go shopping to get my bro, and Jennifer something for their wedding reception tomorrow.

It's hella quiet at work this morning. So far there is nothing going on. We're finally getting our web servers upgraded to Windows 2000 Servers, running IIS 5, and we'll finally get to start doing .net development. I can't wait! (God, I'm a nerd. heh)

Eighmee and Ryan went to Valley Springs yesterday afternoon to help her mom take Sunny and Shiela to get their vaccinations. I did a lot of clean up around to apartment, dishes, laundry, and what not.

I've been reading Moby Dick each night before bed. It's been a pretty great book so far, as of about 115 pages into it. It's quite edjumacating reading classic literature. Last night, however, I cracked an old book I got from my dad, The Life of Emerson, a biography of Ralph Waldo Emerson. He's a pretty interesting writer and does some interesting commentaries on his life and times. In one of the lines I liked he said, essencially, "I can't worry about when I die, because it's something that I can't prepare for. It's rather my accomplishments in life that dictate what will be of my death." Reading this from a relative of old makes me wonder if what I am writing here will ever be read by one of my descendants, two-hundred years from now, or will it be lost in some archive of blogging database somewhere. If by chance this is being read by some descendant long after my own death, God bless you -- what I write is not nearly as profound as Ralph Waldo, but I write of my own live and time none the less -- you are who this is for.

Friday: Wow, it's almost been a month since my last blog. Since I finished my last semester in school, I've gotten deep into the HealthTrio implementation project here at work. I am glad I did pretty well in my two classes, getting an A in Political Science, and a B in Civilization / Humanities. Dad's birthday was on the 5th of this month. Weird. The weathers been getting better; the past two weekends I've been BBQing steak for dinner. Needless to say we've had some big dinner crowds recently. Keith and Karen whom Eighmee and I know from Lincoln, and Keith of whom also works at Software Etc. with Eighmee, are moving into the apartment directly across from us, they just secured it yesterday. It'll be cool having some people we know living around there. Mom's been out of work now for a couple weeks, and through I haven't talked much to her, it seems she's getting cabin fever. She called me a couple days ago and wanted to know when I can start helping her around the house to fix a bunch of crap. I'm pretty sure she's just lonely. This weekend is fathers day. Again, weird. My famile is having a shindig at my grandparents place. Eighmee had me order a huge print of the Brooklyn Bridge that I took while I was in NYC for her dad. Next weekend, is also going to be quite busy: Friday we've got a bbq to go to at our friend Andrew who lives in Brookside. He's a youngin' and his parents are leaving for the weekend, and he wanted to show off his mad cookin' skillz to us. Then, Saturday, we've got Mike and Jennifer's wedding reception at their house. I imagine it's gonna be a pretty big event. Eighmee and her mom went shopping for it earlier this week. Finally, Sunday we're heading to the Fanime expo, and Japanese Anime expo. I don't recall the exact location of this even, as it's mainly Eighmee's thang. It'll be something fun to do though. I've been on a serious Counting Crows kick this past month. Tim's fault. Eighmee checked out a new game yesterday, Animal Crossing for the Game Cube and her, Ryan, and I played it back and forth from aparently 3pm yesterday, till well past midnight. Silly, fun game. Kitt and Chris came over a couple days ago and showed off Chris' latest aquisition: a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T. Charcoal on white. Kitt took us for a drive in it around the Delta College frontage road; an amazing vehicle. Ryan "Beh"ed at his Civic once we pulled back up at the apartment. I still love my Pilot. It's not supersonic, but it's comfy as hell. I got my first few scratches on it a couple weeks ago scraping the front left bumper, on the side of the garage opening. It's a hella tight fit, sun was in my eyes, and 'reeeech!'. It's not too bad, but the paint is chipped in two locations, though thankfully the bumper is black under the paint. Ironically, the following day, I tapped the left mirror while pulling into the garage, nicking it too. Needless to say, I'm cautious as hell now when I pull in. I cant wait to get a house or a bigger apartment when it'll be a bit easier to park. Allright, shit, I guess I need to get back to work. hehe till next blog.
