Sup- It's Monday. Had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday Eighmee worked, and I worked on a research paper for my Civilization class that's due Wednesday. Then yesterday, Mothers Day, we got a up a bit early, and went to my grandparents house. Grandma is recovering from her knee replacement surgery, but doing quite well. She was very upbeat. I spent the majority of the couple hours we spent there showing everyone photos of my trip to New York. Around two Eighmee and I bugged out and went to her brothers for a few minutes to group, and we headed to Bud's Seafood Grill in Lincoln Center for Mothers Day for Eighmee's family. It was hella good grub. We left there and stopped by the mall. I was able to get Eighmee to drive us around after being harassed about getting her license from her family :o) From there we went to Target where I let her go on a shopping spree. Together we spent over 500 bones on stuff to fix up the apartment. Lamps, a nightstand, and pictures, and what-not. Eighmee, Kitt, Sean, Ryan and I all grouped up back at the apartment, and then went to Walmart in Lodi for additional necessities. Kitt, Sean, Ryan and Pat are going to the E3 electronics expo in L.A. tomorrow for the rest of the week, and they need to stock up on supplies too. Anyways... I back at work. We're heading somewhere for lunch to celebrate Tim's birthday today. And... um, "that's all I have to say 'bout that."

hello... it's been a while since I've typed. It's Thursday, and it's been a pretty active day at work today. Tues. and Wed. nights were my first time back at school since being home from NY. It doesn't seem like I've missed much, and should be able to catch up with a bit of work. Last night in Humanities we watched a pretty good Woody Allen movie called The Front. Eighmee had yesterday off, and we watched some Japanese anime last night. I sat through "Teacher Please!" which was pretty cute, then I made some cheese raviolies for Eighmee, Sean and myself. (Ryan was hooked on GTA Vice City on PC the whole time) Anyways, school is nearing completion this month, and I can't wait for finals to be over with. With everything going on, this has been one fuckin' long semester!
Lets see, what else. Oh, Monday, and Tuesday, my first two days back at work I spent at New Horizons Learning Center in Lathrop with Jerry, Tim, Alex, Shelli, and Lourdes from Provider Service, and Laura from Claims. We were taking an intro to Crystal Reports course. It was quite good, but as of this morning, Alex and I couldn't figure out how to get his EOB report printing right in Crystal, so I'm not so sure it was all the successful. :o) None the less, we are scheduled to take a 'Level 2' Crystal class next week. Nice to stay out of the office. :o)

And it's Friday... Yesterday was a pretty lamer day here at HealthSource. Did a little more DRE administration training, then took off a bit early to change and take the metro into the city. From the time I arrived at grand central terminal, I walked the few blocks to the Empire State Building again. This time I went in, and after a bit of confussion on how to buy a ticket, I took the express elevator to the observatory on the 87th (i think) floor. It was quite amazing how fast the elevator was. It took us from the first floor to the 80th floor in roughly 45 seconds. You then take another elevator to the top. It was really pretty, and you could see the southern tip of Manhattan, and the Statue of Liberty, etc from up there. I took lots of pictures, and can't wait to show them off to the folks back home. This morning was uneventful as always. Had buffet breakfast at the Marriot Courtyard as I have almost every morning this week. I just got back from lunch where I tried a little deli on the corner of Broadway and White Plains Rd here in Tarrytown.
Eighmee's working today. Called her before lunch, but she was out getting coffee before work. When I got back from lunch I got a chance to say my wuddups and love you's for the day. :o) She said she enjoyed her full week without any fights with me. lol.
Oh yeah... in other news, I talked to mom last night for about an hour. Today is her Bday. She had dinner with Mike and Jennifer last night. I guess they're just having a small party for her at Eddie's doing the Friday night Pizza thing. She also mentioned that dad was "done". heh. I guess her and Mike got into a little spat over who was going to pick him up, and where he'd reside for the time being. I'm not too worried about it. Anyways... it's 1:16pm EST here, and I've got one last meeting at 2pm for final questions and to get signed off. So, the next I blog I should be back in Calif!
Oh yeah... I should mention the president gave a speech last night, where he flew an F-16 onto an aircraft carrier, the USS Abraham Lincoln, and officially announced that the war stage of dealing with Iraq is officially over. It was a pretty impressive speech with all the officers and crewmen on the flight deck all around him.
Ok... peace out for reals this time...

Well, it's Thursday, and tomorrow is my last day working at HealthSource. It's been beautiful all week, then started raining this morning. It's stopped now, but is totally overcast. I haven't had time to get back to NYC since sunday, but I've been thinking about trying to get off early today, and go over there for some souvineers, etc. We got DRE totally up and running yesterday, at full performance, and I don't see any other issues with the installation here. I gave DRE training to several consultants, developers, and supervisors yesterday and it went quickly and quite well. Now I'm left with little to do for the next two days. I've spent most of the past few evenings just driving around the Tarrytown area, getting to know the area, and have had dinner at TGI Fridays the past two nights. It's a pretty good place. umm... kay that's all. :o)
